1. There is a piece of paper in the battery compartment that stops the battery going flat. Feel around and find this piece of paper, and remove it (as in the video below).
2. Next, find the button that starts the lights. There are 3 different light settings as well as "OFF".
IMPORTANT: DO NOT CUT OPEN THE ANIMAL HAT
